Media Release - Community Meeting Exposes Evidence of Safety, Health and Economic Risks Beneath the Flight Path
On 14 April 2024, residents affected by the flight path change gathered at the Collective Community Hub once again, to discuss and decide the next steps. 95.6% of those attending in the room and online via livestream voted to commence a High Court judicial review case to have the DMAPS tracks set aside by Court order. On 17 June 2023, residents affected by the flight path change gathered at the Collective Community Hub, to raise their concerns with representatives from Wellington Airport and Airways. The event was attended by 120 people in person, with more attending via Facebook Live.
